My favorite reading challenge this year in Kid Lit Frenzy’s Nonfiction Picture Book Challenge. Visit Alyson’s blog to find more great nonfiction titles for children.
For this week’s post, I decided to do something a little different: share the top 10 nonfiction picture books on my wish list.
It’s dangerous for me to make lists. First comes the list-making. That ought to satisfy. But it doesn’t.
Next thing I know, all the books on that list have somehow ended up in my shopping cart at Amazon. One or two clicks later, they’re on their way to western South Dakota. (What a wonderful world we live in! Every book I want to read is just a credit card, an Internet connection, and a couple of days away.) So by this time next week, it’s very possible that some of these titles will have moved from Wish List to Read.
